Hi,
I am sorta surprised there haven't been any posts cross-training with swimming. I am 66 y.o., 5'11", 176 lb. (80 kg). I've been swimming most of my life (my Dad said I was born wet), including Master's swimming. So far, I have found that my 6 weeks on the C2 have increased the power in my swimming stroke as well as helped endurance. On the C2, my 500/splits are around 2:20, best 2K so far about 8:50. Swimming times (distance) haven't changed too much from my 30's, but I think they should be going down with the cross-training. Any other swimmers out there?
Please help.
